No, but you can get 20% discount on your tickets for the Tower of St. Jorge’s Castle Church with the Lisboa Card.

On the December 25th they are closed. On the January 1st the opening hours are reduced and may change from year to year. It’s the best that you contact us in advance to make sure you will be able to exchange your voucher on that day.

The card is valid for one year after the purchase date.

The card is done by hours, not days. So, for example, if you start using it at 10:00h on a Tuesday, it will be valid until 10:00h on Wednesday (if you purchased the 24h card).

Independently of the purchase date, the card is only activated on the first use.

We have a non-refundable policy once the tickets have been issued and sent.

It offers discounts on attractions, museums, visits and tours, leisure and entertainment, bars and restaurants, transportation and shopping.

You can see the full list here.

You can use the metro, free of charge with your Lisboa Card, which takes you from the airport to the city center.

Children under 4 years old are free of charge, and don’t need a ticket.

Yes. The Fertagus (bridge train) is included for free on the Lisboa Card and takes you to Pragal which is close to Almada. If you want to visit the Cristo Rei statue, you can take the bus 753 (Carris) departing from Pragal, also free of charge.

No, buses to circulate within Sintra and Cascais are not included. But the trains to go from Lisbon to Sintra or Lisbon to Cascais are included for free.

Only at Mosteiro dos Jerónimos and Museu de Arqueologia in Belém, which have already the Fast Track queue, where you can just move on and validate your Lisboa Card in a machine.

At Torre de Belém, there’s a Kiosk nearby where you have a specific queue just for Lisboa Card owners, so you can show your Lisboa Card and get the entrance ticket in exchange.

For all other attractions/museums, you need to wait on the line to show your Lisboa Card and pick up your tickets at the entrance.

Unfortunately, you will have to buy another one. Even if you keep your invoice of the purchase, or the voucher that you exchanged to have the Lisboa Card, it’s not possible to generate a new Lisboa Card for the same code.

Yes. Customers will receive a discount of 25% when purchasing Aerobus tickets. However, Aerobus is temporarily unavailable.

For the Parks/Palaces of Sintra such as the Pena Palace, the National Palace of Sintra, the Castle of the Moors, the Park of Monserrate and the Convent of the Capuchos, it is necessary to present the Lisboa Card at the ticket office, so that the discount is applied (see each attraction % discount here).

However, you can buy tickets for all these attractions in the same place/attraction for time and money convenience: if you buy a combined ticket at the ticket office (for example, Pena Palace + Castle of the Moors), you get the discount of Lisboa Card in each, PLUS a discount for the purchase of a combination of Sintra attractions.

PLEASE NOTE: To visit the Pena Palace you cannot access it by private car. Instead, you can take the Bus 434, any tourist vehicle (such as a Tuk Tuk), Uber, Taxi or you can go on foot (which is also a beautiful hike).

You can visit Torre de Belém from Tuesday to Sunday, between 10h – 17h30 (the last admission is at 17h).

All you have to do is show your Lisboa Card at the mirrored Kiosk nearby the Tower and they give you an entrance ticket to use at any time during the opening hours of the attraction.

Please note: The Kiosk is open from 10h – 17h00 and there’s a specific queue for the Lisboa Card owners.
If you go there during lunch time (13h – 14h) you have to go for the normal line, so it may take you a bit longer, but you will exchange your tickets anyway.
